Get your free estimateThe Latch and Post Gate Repair Jacksonville Guarantee
A gate that doesn’t latch is a gate that doesn’t do its job. That’s the whole reason we exist. Latch and Post Gate Repair Jacksonville has been fixing gates and openers in Jacksonville since 2009, and every job we take on carries one simple promise: if it’s not done right, we make it right. No argument, no fine print, no chasing us down. Our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every repair and every installation we perform, from a broken latch on a wood driveway gate to a full electric opener replacement. You get a written price before we touch a single bolt. You get a clean work area before we leave. And if something we fixed fails inside a year, you call us and we come back. That’s the guarantee, plainly stated.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair and installation. If a repair we performed doesn’t hold, or an installation isn’t functioning the way it should, we return and correct it under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
- Written pricing before any work begins. You’ll see the full cost in writing before our technician starts, and that number doesn’t change unless you approve additional work first.
- Parts and materials we supply. We stand behind the brackets, hinges, latches, openers, and hardware we install on your gate.
- A clean home and property. Shoe covers and drop cloths go down before we step inside, and we take a photo of the clean-up before we leave so you can see exactly what we’re leaving behind.
- Background-checked, uniformed technicians. The person at your gate is trained on LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule equipment, and they work to the Cedarwell C.A.R.E. values on every visit.
- Honest diagnosis. We tell you what’s actually wrong, not what generates the biggest invoice. If a repair will genuinely extend the life of your gate, we say so. If replacement is the smarter call, we explain why with numbers you can understand.

Our Satisfaction Promise
Here’s how the make-it-right process actually works. You call (904) 250-0188, you tell us what’s not right, and a live person answers. Not a voicemail, not a callback queue. We schedule a return visit, and a technician comes back to look at the problem with fresh eyes. If the issue falls under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, we correct it at no charge. If it turns out to be a new problem, we’ll show you what’s happening, give you a written price, and you decide how you want to proceed. Either way, you’ll never be stuck wondering whether we’re going to show up. Cody Beckman runs this shop, and he’d rather redo a job properly than leave a Jacksonville homeowner with a gate that’s still dragging, sagging, or refusing to close. That’s not a slogan. That’s how we’ve kept the phone ringing since 2009.
Licensed & Insured Backing
Guarantees are only worth what’s behind them. Latch and Post Gate Repair Jacksonville is a licensed and insured operation, part of the Cedarwell family of independently owned and operated gate specialists. What that means for you: if something goes wrong on a job site, you’re not left holding the bag. Our insurance coverage stands behind the work our technicians perform on your property. We carry bonding too, which protects you as a homeowner from incomplete or substandard work. We don’t flash credentials as decoration. We carry them because gate repair involves springs under tension, heavy steel, and electrical components that deserve respect. A Jacksonville homeowner should never have to wonder whether the person working on their gate is actually covered if the worst happens. We are. Every visit, every time.

AfterWhat the 365-Day Done Right Promise Does Not Cover
A guarantee should be clear about its edges, not just its promises. Here’s what falls outside the 365-Day Done Right Promise: normal wear and tear that occurs after we’ve completed the job, damage from storms or accidents, changes you make to the gate after we leave, and manufacturer defects in parts that carry their own factory warranty. If a LiftMaster or FAAC opener has a factory defect, we’ll help you navigate the manufacturer’s warranty claim, but the manufacturer’s terms govern that part. What we cover is our workmanship and the integrity of the installation we performed. If we installed a hinge and the hinge fails because it was defective, that’s on the manufacturer. If the hinge fails because we installed it wrong, that’s on us, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise applies. We’d rather you know the difference upfront than discover it later.
How the C.A.R.E. Values Protect Your Home
Every Latch and Post technician works to four rules that we actually name in our morning meetings. Clean up like it is our own home: drop cloths go down before boots cross your threshold, and we photograph the clean-up before we go. Ask before we move or touch anything: your property is yours, and we don’t rearrange it without permission. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours: we show up when we say we’ll show up, and we can schedule around nap time if you have young kids and quiet matters. Explain the price before the work: you’ll never hear a number after the fact that you didn’t approve before the fact. Those four rules aren’t a marketing bullet list to us. They’re the operating standard Cody Beckman holds every technician to, and they’re part of why Jacksonville homeowners call us back when the next gate issue shows up.
What This Means for Your Repair or Installation
Let’s put it in plain terms. You hire us to fix a sagging gate. We show up on time. We diagnose the problem. We hand you a written price. You approve it. We do the work. We clean up and photograph it. You test the gate and it swings and latches the way a gate should. And if it doesn’t, or it stops working a month or ten months later because of something we did, you call (904) 250-0188 and we come back. That’s the whole deal. For installations, the same process applies with one difference: we measure, we order, we schedule, and we show up when the materials are in. You get a written estimate before anything is ordered, and the final price in writing before installation begins. No surprises at any point. Every gate comes down to two parts: the latch that holds it and the post that carries it. That’s the job we focus on, and that focus is what we guarantee.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our workmanship guarantee runs for 365 days from the date we complete the work. If a repair or installation we performed fails within that window due to our workmanship, we return and make it right at no charge. Manufacturer warranties on parts like LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule openers are separate and vary by product. Call (904) 250-0188 and we’ll tell you exactly what applies to your specific job before we start.
Call us. A live person answers (904) 250-0188, day or night. We schedule a return visit, diagnose what’s happening, and correct anything covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise at no charge. If it’s a new issue, you’ll get a written price before anything else happens. Either way, you’ll never be left waiting on a callback.
We guarantee the workmanship of how the parts were installed and that the parts we supplied were appropriate for your gate. Defects in the parts themselves are handled through the manufacturer’s warranty, and we’ll help you with that process if it comes up. We service equipment from LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule, so we know the warranty channels for each one.
Yes. The price you see before work begins is the price you pay, and there’s no charge for the written estimate. If we find additional problems during diagnosis, we explain them, show you the numbers, and you decide. No pressure, no obligation. That’s part of the Cedarwell Care Promise, and it applies to every visit.
